CLASSES

Poseidon Performance offers an exciting mix of classes that include athletic conditioning and performance training, pilates and calisthenics. We can optimise and enhance your training by utilising equipment such as resistance bands, BOSU, TRX & ViPR. 

We also offer specific rehabilitation classes that include upper body sessions for shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand injuries such as rotator cuff injuries, and shoulder dislocations, lower limb session for hip, knee and ankle injuries including ACL reconstruction and back classes for acute and chronic back issues.

Core Strengthening Class

Ground yourself in the essentials of core strength, based on the research by Dr Stu McGill. Empowering you to take control of your lower back pain. We’ll educate you with the correct technique to rehabilitate your own back-pain and enhance both your injury resilience and performance. Designed for people with both acute and chronic lower back pain, this class is also suitable for those who have been inactive or recovering from an injury. This series helps participants develop real core strength and stability. Additional equipment adds variety and stimulus to progress and challenge you.

Lower Body Rehabilitation

A specific and focused lower body rehabilitation class aim at returning you from lower limb injuries such as ankle inversions, knee surgery (including meniscus repair and ACL reconstruction) and hip injuries.

This training program focuses on returning dynamic mobility to the joint, increasing proprioceptive and kinaesthetic awareness, increasing overall precision and control, restoring strength through full range of joint movement and improving joint stability; while heightening mind-body awareness. The overall aim is to return you to your optimum performance potential.

Upper Body Rehabilitation

A specific and focused upper body rehabilitation class aimed at returning you from acute and chronic upper limb injuries such as shoulder dislocations and subluxations, rotator cuff injuries, fractures, golf and tennis elbow and carpal tunnel syndrome.

This unique program focuses on returning kinaesthetic awareness to the joint, increasing proprioceptive with precision and control, restoring strength through full range of joint movement and improving joint stability; while heightening mind-body awareness. The specific aim is to return you to full function with enhanced performance levels.

Athletic Conditioning & Performance Training

This bespoke training programme focuses on targeting strength and kinaesthetic awareness leading to improvements in whole body strength and stamina.

This multi-layered system is designed for both novice and high-level athletes.

You'll enhance your athletic performance by improving strength, power, precision, control and agility. Boost your metabolism, optimise your athletic performance, and train smarter with our combination of calisthenics and strength training that reinforces the fundamental movement patterns that transform regular training regimes into outcome-driven training sessions. Our programme will facilitate retrain muscles balance, strengthen the core muscle, and build fortitude.
